Oh yes, she did devotion on Tuesday
&& today Stephanie did a devotion on how God forgives us
It really tugged on my heartstrings..., because i can't seem to forgive her.
Though it's hard for us to forgive others, this prayer reminds us to
"Our Father in heaven...Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who've sinned
against us. Do not bring us to the test but deliver us from evil.
Amen."

Give me the strength and courage to forgive like you forgive us.

What God Has Promised

Early morning today.
Got kinda woken up by an sms?
And yea, went out b'fast with mummy n daddy to Mcs
&& when i got there, i was seated in between two tables of hardworking AH peeps
like. woah, can't i have peace while having my Hotcakes EVM?
Sigh. Pressure made me go home
&& finish a physics paper1.

Then came online to blog again =)
talked to yk, zw n chow.
Chow said sth really WULIAO about my pm which was:
"volleyball, wading and making new friends =) Sentosa was a blast!".

okay. back to my point.
i wanted to blog today, about a poem
dedicated to all my Christian friends, as well as non-believers
this poem really reached out to me
when it was read by Si Kai ge on last Saturday's service
It is titled "What God Has Promised"

YF outing to SENTOSA

Yesterday was probably the most sun-filled day i had

Early in the morning...5am
i was up and ready to go to school (had to reach by 6am)
took a cabby, and arrived to paint my face and help others with theirs
i created masterpieces =p (pics will be out!)

Rehearsed one final time and went over to the parade sq.
the UGs were AWESOME. i so wanted to join 'em
great that no one fell out =)
NP was superb!
Cheering was fine. Think lotsa 4B peeps were to nervous and forgot the cheer...
sigh. all really sad that we didn't win anything. sigh again
But i guess we all had fun during the process. bonding and all
congrats to those who won. sorry if we sounded sore.
4B's just "born to lose..."

On a not so sigh-ish mood
Rachel, WanLing and I went with the yf peeps to SENTOSA~
Woosh~! First up was some ice-breakers that Janus n Stephanie planned
abit leng chang, but i got to know a few people =D
Tea-break and i was attempting to get some to eat the apples we brought (4B leftovers)
haha, not very successful eh.

Finally it was free-time
Rachel, Wan Ling, Min Hui, Yong Sheng, Angie, Wei Tian and I joined the 1C-ers for some beach-captain's ball.
Yong Sheng totally owned, so unfair can?
But yes indeed, wo men lao le. Couldnt play as long as the sec1s could... ha!

After a few rounds of Captain's ball-break-Captain's Ball
The gals sat down under a shady tree and had apples/phototaking session
i was being USED as a model for cuifen jie's creative photo ideas.
"turn right abit! ahh... look up! yea yea! okay okay. 1,2,3!"
haha, well, i obliged since wanling didnt want to. haha
I hope i'll get e URL n pics soon =)

Later i noticed some of the Sec3s had come out of the water n were playing Beach Volleyball
Since I was desperate to play some ball (had rested enough =) ) i went over n asked if i could join them =)
First time i played serious VB, and i think it was a bit laokui at first cos... erm. the ball got no direction. lol.
But after warming up, i got the hang of it.
The ones who were alr there were good lahh, esp xinmin!
joseph liked the sand alot n janus got no control of his power.
haha, cheryl was great too, she helped me with my... technique? =)

Through the awesome time i had with them, i made some new friends...
namely the 1C people: Rachel, Joseph Cheng, the other names i dun rmb! sorry!
Wei jie, Yong Sheng, Angie, Wei Tian, Celeste.
The Sec3s & others: Janus, Stephanie, Isabel (SACPS de!), Cheryl, Joseph Lee, Chee Soon, Xin Min... any one i missed out?
Also there were "old" frens like Min Hui jie, Cui Fen jie, Jia Mi jie, Rach, WanLing, Ying Ting, Angeline, Geanie(sp?) etc. (too many too rmb manzx)

I had a great time, and it shows too. cos im currently lobster red. i'll post pics when i have the time. =)
