Disappointment brings passion

Okay, i officially only have blogging time
on Sundays.
Don't EVEN mention weekdays,
cos...if u're a Sec4, u'll understand.
Tests.
Tests.
MORE tests.
they come in truckloads,i'm telling u
All that crap about maximum no. of tests = 3/week
oh,please.. we get it everyday.
n im not even counting the quizzes.
or assignments due

Oh well, O lvl year... i should have expected it

The past week was not eventful at all
besides having IMPROVEMENT in
Basha timing
=D elated.
Even duing self training, when Sir was sick
(get well soon!)
and Ma'am was busy, it wasnt half bad

Friday was great too. Hot day
Hard ground (worst scenario)
but we managed to do ~12mins
without wanling
=)
accomplishment!

I gotta confess though, when i heard about
"it". i thought, "hey, whatever..."
then when i heard it wasn't wad i thot it was
okay, a slight smile there
like a glimmer of hope
radiating from a flickering flame
Most recently, i heard it was BOTH.
including what i strived for.
what i wanted.
what i had always dreamed about.

She might deserve it,
but the means she took to get there
all those OTHER factors
academics? personality?
i guess it really don't count huh.

She on the other hand,
got it ONLY because it would seem
wrong? if she didnt.
too bad if i don't see the effort.

Reconciliation

It's been decades since i typed anything
into this lil' blank space...
Justification. I'VE BEEN BUSY
haha, honestly... With visiting
and catching up with work
and NPCC (especially campcraft)
and of course Valentine's Day

(thanks for the post =p)

I just gotta say, this year's gonna
be one hell of a ride. So many things
So little time
At the tip of my fingers
i can just name a few that'll take forever to complete
#1 My theory exam g6(done by mid-march)
#2 Piano practical g6(June mock exam, Jul/Aug exam)
#3 O levels (self explanatory) which comes with
the truckload of tests each week, not forgetting hw
and the June CL Os. Next week alone will bring 5 tests.
One per day. nice eh?
#4 NPCC... Campcraft comp, followed by March Camp, then
POP (which im SOOOO not looking forward to.)

Things are getting slightly (wads e word?)
and it'll just get worse.

Give me strength.

CNY eve

CNY eve =)

The morning started as usual

However i was
"dilly dally-ing" to change and eat

So... i missed the bus

Thus, i walked.

haha, nevermind, it's good exercise?

Plus, Stef was late too.

When we reached school, the assembly

March-song was playing already

So, we hurriedly went to put our bags

then chiong-ed to the Parade Sq

Mrs Wang's devotion was kinda enriching

About this man whose wife

felt that they should get a divorce

But before she did, she asked him

"Would you get me a flower,

on the face of a mountain,

even if you might die doing it?"

He said no, "I could never die before

you, unless someone loves you more

than I do"

Haha, so sweet...

Anyway, lessons as usual

for the first 2 periods

Bio was more genetics + DNA

EL was more fun

Mrs Mohan gave us a LONG list

of questions... which made us think

It was kinda like one of those LONG

quizzes

It had questions like

"What was the first book you

read for fun?"

((Enid Blyton!))

"Whose the one person who can never

fail to make you laugh?"

((Stephanie!!!<3>

"If you could live anywhere

for a year without working

where would you go? Why?"

((Switzerland! The people are nice

The weather&scenery is just awesome

I wanna learn how to skiiiii))

"If money was no object, what would

be your profession?"

((Interior Designer =) ))

Yea, relli fun.

But we hardly completed

half of the questions... =p

at 0900, we had recess

but i just ate my cookies

cos later on i had lunch

with the 6Frangipani gals

Performances were not bad

I was trying to apply my

Chinese Music knowledge

but i couldnt see the whole orchestra

And Indian music kept hogging my brain

(ta-ti-ta-a ta-ti-ta-a) hahha

Dance society's costume was beautiful

but there were a certain few

who kept lagging, or u know..

CDS was good too.

Jung Tse was soooo cute la

hahahah, he said "That's called acting"

(acting cute. lols)

Finally, it was time to go to SACPS!

(St. Anthony's Canossian Primary School)

such a long name ehh?

I got delayed a bit

cos of Angela Yeo, but Mrs Teo

was still there when i arrived

surrounded by the usual throng of

fans. hahah MRT FC

(Mrs Rita Teo FanClub)

Claudia,Ruoen,Stephanie

Celestia,Samantha,Yu Yue,

Rachel,Cheryl & Angela were

the small percentage of the

Class of '04 who came back

(or maybe i just missed the earlier bunch)

Anyways, me, steph, stick,

sam, claudia&ruoen went for lunch

to celebrate CNY eve,

as well as Steph's birthday!

We wanted to go to Hideout Cafe

But... it wasn't open

So we took 222 to bedok int

and walked to Pizza Hut

in the scorching sun

but. the. oven. was. broken.

=.= we had to wait 1.5hrs.

if we wanted a pizza...

Thus we just went to LJS

(service was horrible...

but ohwell, i had lotsa

laughs & caught up with

the "gossip". cant believe some of it.

but its a fact. People change.

We recounted on past events

which happened 4 years ago.

The Flying Eagle,

our OUTstanding class

the class performance

1985, this love hahah

Sam, Claudia & Ruoen left

n the 3 of us went to McD

called Lizzie n had fun talking to her

=D and you and you and you.

when i got home, i was exhausted.

so i slept for 5 hours.

got up just in time to bathe

and have reunion dinner

with my grandma, Adwin, June

and immediate family of course

Watched 'face off' after some

Bridge & Chor Dai Dee

and then went to bed @ 0200hours

Happy Chinese New Year!

We're going to die of freeze

Cont'd from previous ConcertBand concert
L'Amore di musica
((the love of music))

Well my favourite arrangement
hmm... should be either pink panther
or the NINETIES
hahah, the songs from the nineties
were really nice.
Yk & i kept trying to guess
the song titles

Off the tip of my fingers...
there were songs like.
Hero."Everybody dance now~".
A whole new world. that LionKing song
Forest GUMP!!
You'll be in my heart.

Yea, it was real nice
But the ride home was nicer =)
(Stef sent me home, =D)

---------------------------------------------

Today i found out from Miss Poh
that ahsNPCC got bronze for UOPA
(Unit Overall Proficiency Award)

When i heard,i was somehow overjoyed
okay, those who are unaware
this is our very first UOPA
thus i believed Bronze
was a good achievement

But i guess WanLing was hoping
for more. A Silver maybe?
Sometimes i feel like i should be thankful
or in this case "we"
Like, be thankful that we didn't get COP
(Certificate of Participation)
Isn't it normal to start off with Bronze?

But once again, it's always better to strive
for a higher goal
for a more challenging target
for a more honourable achievement

So, wad is it?
to strive n then b disappointed?
or juz to be content?

we're gonna die of freeze.-YK

Right back to pia-ing theory papers
It's 7&aHALF papers (and counting)

.
slack
.
etc...

ohwell, i had a fun time
watching the PartC video
from CCP's farewell.

But i had a greater time @ dinner
with dear =)
First time
(as far as i remember)
at Fish&Co.
bcos, mummy&daddy think
the service is incorrigible

time managenent once again
caused us to be late
(oh btw, we bought van
san1 duo3 lilies..
we also got her SUPER big bear
like, look so JIAHAO-ish =p)

Reached the school hall ard 7.30+
thus had BAD seats.
We (yukwan n I)
couldnt see anything
much less vanessa
with all the constanly moving heads.
haha

Rain rain go AWAY

Rain rain go away...
come again after campcraft com!
><

I really am putting in 101% into the
campcraft competition
So is everyone else.
Therefore, i wanna apologise
for maybe being too ji1dong4
about getting 12mins n perhaps
shouting at the rest...

pressurised.

Even though there was improvement
the rain honestly killed all possibility
of "practise makes perfect"

Anyways, it was still memorable.
=) hahha, im saying that...
rain started to pour
n since we thought
(or sir n ma'am thought)
it would be a passing shower,
so we took shelter under some staircase
that the construction workers put up
it was jus nice for the whole team
plus sir & ma'am...

But SOON, the "passing shower"
mutated.
hahahah, like became typhoon
><>
so i said "Sir, can go up to stadium?
Zhe4Yang4 xia4qu4 bu2 shi4 ban4fa3"
ahha, so we ran. with the rain
and the muddy field.

Lightning and thunder...
YET, the flagstaff still stood
throughout the whole storm.
Tree branches broke,
softball fences dou1dao3,
but the flagstaff. WAH 0.0
good job guys =D

well nth much after
besides a little TALK
with the sec4 squad.
very enriching i must say..
at least, we said our bit
comments n feedbacks

yea, pioneer batch
isn't easy.

"u have to experience it to know it"
